This 60 Minutes segment on Trasylol is yet another glaring example of how warnings about the adverse effects of a drug can get pushed aside and buried by a pharmaceutical company seemingly more interested in profits than saving lives. Meanwhile the Food and Drug Administration does little to hold Bayer accountable for not releasing the results of a study that would have shown Trasyol was linked to kidney failure in patients.
